I do not care if you wore six inch heals and a two inch mini shirt, you said no. I don't care if you were drinking. You did not give your consent. From a survivors eyes, I'll tell you the quicker you reach out for help, receive counseling, the quicker you'll recover. When I started letting go of some of the guilt & shame I was carrying around with me for years was the start of my recovery. My support system was there for me. We all worked together. I did not feel lost, alone, and at fault, this was the start of me taking back my life. You can too. I tell you to reach out and take back your life, its huge in your recovery.
