Because rape and sexual assault often leave survivors feeling very isolated, groups are often an important component in their healing. We provide support groups for
female, male and transgender adults and adolescents. Groups are generally comprised of between 4-6 participants. Topics frequently discussed in groups include: self-esteem, coping, depression, relationships, anger, guilt and shame and identity, among others.
Current groups include:
Gay Male Survivors Support Group for all survivors
of child sexual abuse, incest, and/or adult sexual assault who identify as
gay men. Must be 18 or older. Intake Required
Coping Skills Group for all survivors of
incest, child sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault who identify as
female and are 18 or older. Intake Required
Drop-In Group/Class for all survivors of
incest, child sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault who identify as
female and are 18 or older. Last Thursday of each month, 3:30-4:30, no
intake required, 144 Merrimack Street, Suite 304, Lowell.
Therapeutic Yoga class for all survivors
of incest, child sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault who identify as
female and are 18 or older. 6 weeks; Intake required.
