We are able to provide support and accompaniment during visits to the emergency room following a sexual assault. Please contact our hotline at 1-800-542-5212 to request an advocate.

*Lawrence General Hospital is a SANE site (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner). This means that a specially trained nurse will arrive at the hospital to collect forensic evidence and perform the examination. It is recommended that the survivor go to this hospital if prosecuting the perpetrator is important to her or him.

We also provide support and accompaniment with reporting to police and other law enforcement agencies. If this an emergency, you can contact an advocate through the hotline otherwise call the office 978-452-7721 during business hours and ask to speak to someone from the counseling department.

There are Victim/Witness Advocates at the DA's office who will provide support to you during your court case. They can also assist you with filing a restraining order at district court.
