Empowerment Yoga Class
Lowell
General Hospital, Clark Auditorium
Yoga
Therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward
improved health and well-being through the application of the philosophy
and practice of yoga. Please join us for this introductory class based on
therapeutic yoga classes that have been offered to female survivors of
sexual assault through the work of Andrea Canty, LICSW and Laura
Marie, Integrative Yoga Therapist. Yoga practices can help us to
become more embodied, calm the mind and lead to a deeper connection and
understanding of our true nature. All are welcomed to this
experiential class regardless of gender, experience or physical condition.
It is open to professionals, survivors of sexual assault or those who
simply want to learn more about yoga practice.
RSVP
is requested, please call Andrea at 978-452-7721 or email at andreac@rcsgl.org.
The
class is free of charge, however donations to the Rape Crisis Service
are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you then.
